This is why we started Our First Bake - a home-based bakery that retains time-consuming traditional cooking methods while crafting modernised desserts to suit the local palette.

We also figured that fancy, over-the-top cakes are aplenty and don't do enough justice to the overall mouthfeel. Hence, while we acknowledge the value of aesthetics, we prefer to focus on the essence of food — the taste — to bring you delicious treats with a rustic and homey charm.
